MAROMAKU SCHOOL

Maromaku School is situated in the far north, 15km from Kawakawa heading towards Whangārei, in a valley surrounded by farmland.

Project Brief: In a rural Northland school it is essential that taitamariki are taught to swim. The school pool had reached end of life, as had the pool change sheds, and the school and BOT had prioritised the upgrade of the pool facilities in their 10 Year Property Plan.

Specifications: Removal of the old para pool ready for a new fibre glass inground pool. The old pool change sheds were given a facelift, and a new shade structure and pool fence complete the refurbishment of the school pool facilities.
